MatrixP2P

Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how MatrixP2P collects, uses, shares, and retains information when you use matrixp2p.com and related Services. It should be read with our Terms and Conditions.

Last updated: 14 August 2026

1. Who we are

MatrixP2P (“MatrixP2P”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates a cryptocurrency exchange and peer-to-peer marketplace at www.matrixp2p.com. This Policy covers the website, progressive web app, and related APIs.

Privacy questions and requests: admin@matrixp2p.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, information generated by use of the Services, and information from service providers, including:

  • Account data: email address, username / display name, password (stored hashed), optional profile picture, role, and security settings such as authenticator-app (TOTP) configuration.
  • Verification and support: email verification status, support tickets (including a KYC category), messages, and identity documents if we request them for compliance.
  • Transaction data: orders, fills, balances, ledger entries, deposits, withdrawals, P2P offers and trades, chat in a P2P trade room, staking positions, and API-key metadata (not the secret after creation).
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, timestamps, approximate locale, app version, and diagnostic logs needed to operate and secure the platform.
  • Cookies and similar storage: session tokens (including in local storage), PWA / service-worker caches, and preference flags such as install-prompt dismissal. See Section 7.
  • Advertising pixels: Meta (Facebook) Pixel ID 2475935829574522, which may collect device identifiers, page views, and similar events for measurement and ads.

We do not require SMS phone numbers for login. Authentication is email-based.

3. How we use information

We use personal data to:

  • create and secure accounts, verify email, and send login or password-reset messages;
  • operate spot matching, wallets, P2P escrow, staking, and API access;
  • process deposits and withdrawals and keep an audit ledger;
  • provide customer support and review disputes or KYC requests;
  • monitor fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • measure site usage and marketing performance (including Meta Pixel);
  • comply with law, enforce the Terms, and protect users and the platform; and
  • communicate service notices and, where allowed, product updates.

4. Email (SendGrid and related providers)

Transactional email is sent through our email providers. Production sending typically uses SendGrid, with Hostinger SMTP and/or Resend as configured fallbacks. Messages may include welcome mail, email verification, login alerts, password reset, deposit and withdrawal notices, and support-related mail from admin@matrixp2p.com.

Those providers process your email address and message content solely to deliver mail on our behalf. You cannot opt out of essential security and account emails while you maintain an account.

5. On-chain deposits

USDT deposits are processed on supported blockchain networks (TRC20, BEP20, and ERC20). When you initiate a deposit, we associate your account with a deposit intent, destination address, and exact payment amount. Blockchain networks publish transaction data publicly. Our infrastructure providers (including webhook and RPC vendors) receive the on-chain transfer details needed to detect and match your payment. We are not responsible for how third-party infrastructure or a blockchain independently processes data under their own terms.

6. Other third parties

We share or expose data to third parties only as needed to run the Services, including:

  • TradingView: embedded chart, heatmap, and news widgets. TradingView may set cookies or collect usage data under its own privacy policy when those widgets load.
  • Binance public market data: used for display (tickers, candles, depth overlays). This is market information, not a transfer of your account file to Binance. Matrix fills are not executed on Binance.
  • Meta / Facebook: Pixel ID 2475935829574522 for PageView and similar events.
  • Infrastructure: hosting, DNS, TLS, and database providers that process data under our instructions.
  • Authorities and counterparties: when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to resolve a P2P dispute (which may involve sharing limited trade details with a counterparty or reviewer).

We do not sell your personal information for money. Advertising and analytics technologies (including Meta Pixel) may still constitute “sharing” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws. You can use browser controls, ad-blocker settings, and Meta’s ad preferences to limit some of that activity.

7. Cookies, local storage, and PWA

We use strictly necessary storage to keep you signed in (session token in local storage), remember certain UI choices, and enable the progressive web app. A service worker may cache static assets so the app can load faster or show an offline state.

Third-party embeds (TradingView, Meta Pixel) may set their own cookies. You can clear cookies and site data in your browser; doing so will sign you out. Blocking all cookies may break login and trading.

8. Retention

We keep account, ledger, order, deposit, withdrawal, and support records for as long as the account is open and for a period afterward as needed for security, dispute handling, tax, and legal obligations. Server logs and pixel events are kept for a shorter operational period unless we must retain them longer. When we no longer need personal data, we delete or de-identify it where feasible.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal data, or to object to certain processing. Email admin@matrixp2p.com with the subject “Privacy request.” We may need to verify the account (for example via the registered email) before acting.

We may decline a request where an exemption applies — for example where we must keep ledger and identity records for compliance, fraud prevention, or ongoing disputes.

10. Security

We use industry-typical controls such as hashed passwords, optional TOTP, session expiry, TLS in transit, and access-limited staff tools. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You must protect your email, password, 2FA device, and API keys. Enable two-factor authentication when you can.

11. Children’s privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact admin@matrixp2p.com and we will close it.

12. International processing

We and our processors (including email, payments, analytics, and hosting) may process data in countries other than your own. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. By using the Services you understand that your information may be processed in those locations as needed to provide MatrixP2P.

13. Changes

We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes may be notified by email or an in-product notice. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
